picture this moment, im happy as can be at work knowing its my last day there before i go on holiday on tuesday
*phone rings*

its go2spain.com, we have ceased trading as of today you will have to re book with holiday rooms direct and pay again for your hotel if your still wanting it, and take up a claim with your credit card or the liquidators about the cash youve lost, GREAT!

so basically ive been running around like mad, ive no hotel as we speak and no one seems to want anything to do with giving me any money back. i didnt use a credit card i used a maestro debit card as my mates share was in the bank ready to go, so the bank said they wont pay out!
travel insurance said they wont pay out!
abta said they were not registered so they wont pay out!
so im scraping now for any hope of the £531, whilst im also trying to find some funds to book another hotel

really pissed off i was all ready to go and had fcs to look forward too and its all gone tits up!

any advice people?

mate what can i say but i would be fucking livid! speak to their administration unit to get ya money back! you cant just stop trading and not give people their money, surely they should have paid for your holiday already, did you research the company before you booked?

Ring the hotel you were meant to be staying at and ask them if you still have you room and tell them it was all booked and paid for but the company has now gone bust. You can get cheap flights - but getting to the Hotel from the airport will be tricky. If the hotel confirm you have a room with them, ask them to help arrange transport from the airport.

If they've gone bust, I doubt you will receive any money back from them. Sorry :(
