i was going to stop in time until mankee pointed out he was a saxp-er! lol
on a serious note, i lost an indicator, broke a bumper bracket, dented wing and cracked part of the grill under my light.
We were so close to not hitting. just one of those things i guess,
he lost it mid corner i tried to avoid and we touched slightly.

Nap time after the session.
my car actually fell apart that session.
Window fell out! and i had to catch it and hand it to the passenger,
rear door card fell off and was flying around in the back of the car
interior light fell out and was flying into the rear view mirror
driveshaft was rumbling to the point of making the entire car shake. (pretty sure thats why the other bits fell off!!)
nickhead
22nd June 2008, 22:33
less important.
that car is world famous, the biggest, most hardcore unloved original shed saxo.
quote of myself from today before the track session:
ME: "i just checked my oil, its basically empty"
Someone: 'are you still going on track?'
ME: "yeah!! i'll fill it up on the way home"
nickhead

nick - ur car falling to bits on track at a show is an anual event. it wouldnt be fcs/trax if bits were not falling appart over/nearly over the track.

we can't all drive the world's fastest supercar-slaying cammed vts and then slate anyone who dares to state that a particular hot hatch might be as quick. 'Pepsi-challenge'? Piss off. Every one of your posts is either an insult or looking down your nose, why don't you take your attitude and get to fuck away from saxos if your so bitter(copyright Bullit 2008).

Great.
Personal insults from mods. Simo asked me why I don't come on here more. I told him that it was due to time, where in reality it's more down to the fact that some people on here now are pretty vile. Most of my posts on here have been to help people, which is pretty rare.
Reason for the accident was one of the three options I gave. Whoever it was just slammed on the brakes mid corner and spun into Nick. I'm not insulting him, I'm not getting personal, it's just that thats what happened.
It's a real shame that it happened. All it does is put people who don't have the spare cash to risk their cars on track from going on, when, in reality, two cars coming together on track is pretty rare and is unquestionably avoidable.
My point is that instead of spending time getting "GASH FTW" accross the rear screen and actually bothering to think about what he was doing then this wouldn't of happened, he's VERY lucky that he just took a small bite out of Nick's car (which Nick was really great about) rather than pottentially totally one of the £20k racing cars that were out there

Never tried to hide that. Minor non-insurance bump, so not front page news. I've also put myself in hospital driving a 306 diesel and removed a rear bumper from a BMW 3 series in central Birmingham and nutted a taxi with a Mercedes A class, which came to a good £5k worth of damage. I've never claimed to be a great driver, I've certainly had the odd bump (though I have been driving a while/doing a lot of miles)
I've also never tried to claim I'm big mates with someone at every show/party to somehow increase my poor credability. Next time, have some dignity Ryan

If people on here are so 'vile' then log out and don't come back. It really is that easy. Everyone makes mistakes, deal with it instead of making flippant snide comments.

Read the massive personal insults in the original. Quite discusted that you'd put all of that and pretty offended.
It's relivent that you're a mod because you really should be setting some kind of example. Sorry if you find some of my comments snide, you may have a point, I may come accross like that. I'm not bitter (other than the impending housing market doom threatening to screw me over a bit I'm having the best time in years) and I'm certainly not old (well, 26)
I've never claimed to have the "ultimate" saxo, "ultimate" suspension or any of that bollocks. I haven't, as far as I know, ever provided any information that was "massively wide of the mark" and as far as I'm aware a few people have sorted out some really great Saxos, Matt Yate's effort being a case in point (which I'm fairly sure is a lot better than mine on the road)
Sorry if you're bitter about something that I've done to offend you, I couldn't care less what it is and really you should deal with it. Feel free to PM me if you like, but personal insults, from a mod are just plainly out of order on here and the reason that I don't post anymore

It's not really viable. I've used it before and for a £4k saxo it's about £100, which is a bit much for a £30 track session.
I'm not trying to rip the guy apart, but with the attitude to it all on here, do you fancy going on the Sax-P track sesh at Trax? I'm sure a lot of people still will, and that's fine, to be honest I would (and may do if I can get the time to sort my VTS out) but for someone who hasn't been on track before, and there Saxo is their only car (and possibly the most valuable thing they own) it's not the most convincing argument to get on track, which is a shame because it's a lot of fun.
Mr_suv
25th June 2008, 14:00
my car is the only car i own, im going to go on track at trax though ftw!!
i slightly see where your coming from but if your that worried then surely you would pay extra for the insurance as im sure somewhere will do cheaper track day insurance. bondie wasnt looking to try and crash its his only car i think he just underestimated a corner and span out slightly that is all

There were no 'massive personal insults', if you're that bothered by what people write on the internet then perhaps you should get out more. I'm not bitter about anything you've done (i've never met you in the real world) nor does anything i've said imply that, i'm coming at it from the point of view of what you post on here and the way you post it. I commented on your particular comment in this thread, then on your posts in general. There is a difference between the real world and the internet you know;)
The victim of the crash seems to have taken it better than you have for some reason, that says an awful lot more about you than it does about me I think.
Have fun searching;)

yes dave which is why I've lost count of the times you have gone on about how great you are in your car. Arguments about how you are this that and the rest. Insulted other peoples driving ability.
And also banged on about Renault and nelson being on your facebook.
