I hate BANKS......

Went in last thursday and spoke to a lady informing her I will be withdrawing a large sum of money just to give her the heads up....she said thank you and she will arrange it.

Go in today with passport just for checks and shit.....

Go to counter...."I would like to withdraw X amount of money in cash from this account.

Her answer...No, will take 2 weeks to withdraw that cash.

No I have arranged to buy a car and was told you only needed 24hrs notice and at the end of the day its my money so I want it by 5pm today thank you please.

Supervisor came out and advised me they will try there best but cant see it happening till early next week......fucking joke.

Knocked over the stupid pen on a string contraption on the way out.....take that...

When I bourght the ZS, Im with HSBC they were ok, i rang 2 days before to get out the money and was fine when i went in on the tuesday to get it.

I told Natwest a couple of days before that i wanted to withdraw 2k when i bought my vts, but they said they didnt need notification for withdrawing up to 4k and i could get it straight away!!

Hope you get it all sorted soon, banks have always been crap!!

Thats is one of the most annoying things ever when you need your money and the bank wont let you take it out,without giving them loads of notice.

I already have 2.5k cash in sock drawer from sale of my car.....Does a Bankers draft guarantee the seller the money or does he have to wait for it to clear....coz dont wanna do 2 trips to get car

Bankers draft is a guarenteed cheque. Basically it's like a cheque (where as it can only be paid in by the person your giving it too - usually has to have their name on it) but it's been approved by the bank that the money is in your account.
