GTi, Clio is french so i expect rattles within a few hundred miles, Alfa looks nice but its an alfa.. so GTI imo better built longer lasting but pricey is its middle name....

They do look mint and are built very well.Its got to be the golf for me.

probably get a 2007 plate for 16k? I dont know but if money wasnt an issue the better car would be the golf

I'd still opt for the Golf GTi, even a mildly used one for that sort of money. It will hold its value way better than a Clio, more comfortable and refined, (I've experinced the engine, tis mint), higher top speed. 197 is lovely, but at that money personally I'd put it into German quality myself.

Alfa is a thing of beauty, but unreliable, poor build and only average handling- struggles to cope with its 250 odd BHP. Plus its very pricey.

For looks and sound i would choose an alfa though

clio any day of the week for me.

if you drive about in a clio f1, u look like u bought a car to enjoy driving it.
drive around in the golf and it just looks like your a middle aged women on the school run.

sure the golfs a better car though tbh

id say the 147 GTA but im biased cos i drive one.

wouldnt go with the hundreds of people that want to drive a common car like the GTi or the Clio...go for the GTA. its so much more of a head turner than the other two and you cant say you are a true petrol head until you've driven one haha.
