Driver Door Wont Open

My driver door wont open from the outside which means climbing over from the passenger side or openin from the inside, ne1 any ideas how 2 fix, thanks

Sounds like one of the rods have come off in the door try removing panel and it may be easy repair

should be simple to repair m8, just take off the door card, exmine the linkages between the lock, handles etc until you get the jist of how it works, then the issue should be clear. probably just a linkage detached.

You will need to pull the door card off and chances are you'll need some door card clips to replace afterwards, next check the rod is attached if it isn't then attach it, and if it is the problem might be the servo(motor which moves the lock mechanism), this can sieze up usually. If you give it a knock on the floor and then refit it will free up. If not then a new servo will be needed!!!

same with mine sometimes it just wont turn drivers side, if you stay with it and force it alittle and try about four times does it open then?, mine does, sometimes its fine but sometimes it just wont turn at all, when passengers is fine no trouble, strange...
