Exhaust join rattle

I seem to recall some1 saying about a rattle that they had on the manifold to centre pipe join. Something to do with the springs? Anybody know what i mean? What was the cure? :y: cheers chaps

nar its when i pull away in 1st gear. its bloody irritating :( was wondering if the fact its a pattern part might have something to do with it?

try my bit out also start ur car with a friend go around the back get under the car and see if the back box is touchin the rear torsion bar while ur looking get ur ma8 to get the car i bet it is tht

i got my mechanic friend to have a look over the pit and he said that the exhaust clears everything so it must be the joint. so its just a case of playing with the tension on that bolt?

yeah and takes ages to get it right well i didnt have a pit so urs might be quicker

cheers dude but while ur in the pit try and locate the noise as welljust incase it not coming from where u think
