bought one of these for the sake of it at the french car show. Just wondering has anyone ese got one? and how would u recomend wireing them?
Ive read there are different ways such as, the earth on the battery and also the wire bewteen the starter motor and the battery.
how are you meant to do it?
Finally, saw a few of them at the fcs in some cars with a cable through the hole on they key? whats that all about?
Hers what im onabout if u dont know,

guessing the cable is attached to the drives somehow so if it a bad crash that throws him it cuts engine? thats what its like on ribs (boats) they have them attached to your wrist so if you fall of it cuts engine therefor boat doesnt drive off

Thanks, il PM him!
I just read snewham's thread which came up in a search and theres like 5 different ways!
I was thinking, extend the earth wire from the battery to the switch than have another wire going to the existing earth to create the curcuit.
Would that be safe? as in sparks, as ive seen them fly when earthing and amp. And say i was to actually use it whilst driving, would it mess the ECU up?

If you used that cut off switch when driving the car would lock up,you would have no control over it(unless somebody with more knowledge corrects me LOL)
Steve.
