Only had it a month and a bit....

Now needs a service, cambelt, side light, two front tyres, pads all round, ABS lights come on, fog light fell out and my exhaust is blowing from the cat-mid join :wall:

The joys of motoring! It'll be alright once its all sorted its just getting the money and time (meaning I cant be bothered atm) to do it.

Could of knocked money off the asking price for those things. Also, they happen on every car.

I know and I did just didnt expect them to become a problem so soon and all at once! The exhaust started blowing after I bough it aswell...bad judgement on my part but still so frustrating!

I thought some did..its on the right of the handbrake light iirc, red with a picture of a car skidding (like on the road signs where the tyre marks look like the wheels cross over).

two front tires, wheelspinning?...

service cambelt sidelight all par for the course

pads all round braking hard?

fog fell out due to driving style?

exhaust blowing again driving style?

maybe you should change yours,as your vts sounded like a bag of spanners, the side indictaor fell out and that same side vt trim held on by screws, was that when you tried rolling it but just slid on side lol, then back on wheels then you drove it home lol.

asa thats all part of driving tbh,i love working on my car although sometimes you got to do things you dont like, bit like a girl, you have good nights, then they drag you shopping lol.

redlining a car wouldnt blow the gearbox, gearbox goes on things like too much power, not revs, torque, wheelspinning alot and lack of servicing.

When I bought it had just under 74K, now its got 78k...fcuk knows how ive managed to that much mileage in 6 weeks! :panic: but yes that is true just didnt think it would come up so quick!

Not sure how a foglight would fall out or how you could put a hole in the exhaust due to 'driving style' tho.

Wheelspinning was due to alot of wet weather in the couple weeks after I bought it :D

Once its all sorted it'll be sweet, just annoying at the moment.

ABS warning light looks like so, but is obviously in a different place on the Saxo. Should light up for 2 seconds or so when you turn the key to the second click:

Get the wheels off, unplug each sensor and give it a good clean ;)
