SSC has it's place, as does Saxp. If it was malicious hatred of the Saxp the CLIO owners would have put something about Saxp being full of kiddy fiddlers or something. it was just a bit of banter nowt else.

SSC has a small community of members now, alot of the old gang moved on to bigger cars.

Back in the day (about 2003) a load of Fiesta Zetec S owners came on the SSC, bragging about how much quicker their cars were, so a load of members from the SSC arranged a sprint day at Brunters and told them to come along. The Zetec chaps felt it would be a good idea to check that there cars were a bit quicker and found they were less powerful and heavier. None of them showed up.

Following that a load of SSC cars sported banners saying "ZETECH S? I'D RATHER WALK"

So this is probably someone who used to have a Sax on the SSC. That one that Yorkie is putting a postcard on is on the SSC stanmd, next to Brian's car

Old forum was quality. Kames weekend used to be a giggle, as is Llandow etc. You're right about the old school moving on. Last year I was the only one at the Old school reunion who owned a Saxo (though Brian bought one about a week later) and I'm not really that old school

Blimey, there are some humourless people here, a minority thankfully. Most seem to be able to have a bit of banter :P

I prefer SSC to be honest, the technical sections are far superior but it's also fair to say that there is a lot less traffic on there these days. I do find general on here a bit of a struggle, too much mong typing :)
