Refitting my doorcards yesterday and the passenger window is jammed down. Not sure what the cause is, the fuse seems fine & when you hit the button the motor makes a thumping noise.

Wonder if i've hit something out of place whilst putting the doorcards back on and there's a lose connection or maybe the motor is buggered?

Can anyone help as i'm bricking it right now incase it decides to rain :(

It's probably gone to far down for the motor to be able to return the window up, if you just undo the door card again and give it a little push up it should engage the motor and put it back to normal!!

Thanks mate, gave that a go but it doesn't want to budge. Does seem like it may have come off the runners though. I'm almost certain the motor hasn't packed up. It's starting to rain now aswell! Bollocks! :n:

You could try giving the motor a few taps incase it has siezed up slightly, this should free it off. Other than that like you said it's probably come off the runners.

Think there might be some smashed glass in the bottom of the door from previous damage. Might be catching the mechanism, probably best to have a go at removing the window.

Connectors on the button were burnt out. Window shut! problem solved for now.
