I've just finished sitting my A levels.
I took Government and Politics, Law and Double business studies at AS, then dropped Politics for A level.
At GCSE I took the normal stuff, science, maths, english, welsh. Then I took Religous Studies, Drama, French and Business and Communication Systems.
I'm hopefully off to Bangor Uni in September to do a degree in Law, providing I get the grades!!:y:

When I was at school they brought in this new subject for GCSE which I did it's called Digital Application which consists of 4 GCSE's and if you pass all 4 you get a diploma...it's basically web design, multimedia and general IT. It's a good laugh but I don't know whether you'd be able to do it at work.

They offer other courses as well, not just gcse and a level, the fact i spent x amount on a camera and not really sure what all the buttons tells me i dont get my moneys worth!
Well it will definately be worth looking into then, at A Level they go through everything from processing, traditional & digital photography and teach you how to get the best out of your camera. So the other courses on offer are likely to be similar. Plus if you're using a camera regularly then you may aswell it's great practice for shows & motorsport events!

Possibly, but i know someone who did one of those "teach yourself" courses, and it got him nowhere because employer's didnt recognise it. I think that was with ICS?

As i'm interested in business and would like to run/work in business later on in life, does anyone think maybe i'd be more benefited by not doing biology and doing something like Law or Economics instead?
Also what would the good universities prefer, biology or law/economics along with the others I'm doing?

Did the usual GCSE's ...maths, english, english lit, double science, RE, PE, history, ICT, business studies, CDT ...then got an Engineering apprenticeship for 4 years (mechanical). Done an NVQ2 PEO course for 18 weeks at college and now doing day release ...and I love it. I'm doing a BTEC (mechanical) then NVQ3 mechanical manufacturing engineering and specialising in CNC milling ...so I get to do all the hands-on stuff and program the computers. Some of the college course is really uninteresting and I doubt it will even be useful in my job but it's standard and has to be done. I like doing CAD and the business side of things. I always thought I'd do something office-based and it wasn't until my last year at school that I changed my mind.
