I got the fusion sub and amp package, i know its not the best but its was for free and i am not keeping it for longer than 4 months.
jus wanted to ask every time i hook it up i get constant bass no vocals or treble etc from the sub. is that rite. should'nt i get bit of both. and are if so or all subs suppose to be made this way.

Just tested mine out on the weekend. On my amp it has three settings for just bass, bass and mid/high range and then one for just mid/high range.
Have a fiddle with sme of the buttons and dials on ur amp.

iv jsut got bass comin from mine aswell, rainin here so cant go changin all the bits yet
I got a basic head Unit that doesnt even have subwoofer control so would it make sense to go out an get a newer head unit to have that setting for the sub ?

subs r only for bass, anything else trying to come out will sound pants
thats wot components r for - the different shape and size cones r for mid and treble
if the amp is only connected to the sub - set it to the low frequency setting
and yes - its worth gettin a decent head unit first.ud b surprised how much difference it makes

seems decent, ur best looking around 4 a while tho! head units a pretty important part of ur ice
depends how serious u r about it too...if ur planning on getting mor - start off with a good headunit and then u can run mor things off of it...
heard good things about nakamichi (sp) altho im not really into my ice too much..

to justify a nakmitchi (sp) headunit your going to have to spend an absolute fortune on everything else. Its such a high end unit and the SQ it produces would be wasted on most speakers

subs are only for bass! they aren't constructed correctly for vocals
