come some peps must of had this problem or thpught bout it b4
not sure about ur knocking but a good garage will have the equipment 2 jack up ur car if not they arnt that good. if they have ramps it will b fine as u just drive on and they will higher ur car with out jacking.
if ur any of ur mates have a pit u could go drive over and jack from underneth the car.

my car is pretty low, to jack it up i drive onto a thick piece of wood this raises the car enough to jack it. my front susp knocked everytime i turned the steering wheel from side to side and it was a suspension plastic holder (top mount), garages quoted me about £350 for a new steering rack and it ended up costing about £20 to fix susp mounts

took the car to the garage l.nite, the anti roll bar link rod had become loose and was moving about in the ball joint part. they tightened it up but it has become damaged due to sufficient movement so i am takin it in on sat to replace it. costing around £36 i tink. not bad!!! glad its all sorted now!!
