grinding, knocking sqeaking sound front front right wheel.

hi, basically the last week or so its been grinding, kncking, and sqeaking from front right wheel. took wheel off the was play in the bearing and i realised the shaft nut was tight at all the was loose(the 1 tht tightens shaft to hub) so tightened it and no play went better for a couple hours drivinng now worse than ever doing grinding sqeaking and knocking. still a smooth drive gears all good, no whining from gearbox, any ideas?when turning does it really bad.
going to buy new cv joint, wheel bearing hope this sorts it any ideas what it is ??

Bottom ball joint mate. If thats gone it puts pressure on your wheel bearing which would cause a 'grinding, knocking squeaky noise.

And also that would be what is giving you play in the wheels!

Where the bottem ball joint an suspension leg meet. That hole could have ovaled out.
