need suggestions on an amp which can power 2 jbl 1000w subs, my limit is 200, i cant even afford that but im drunk, so i needs answers asap. thanks etc

btw the amp i want is JUST to run the 2 subs, speaker amp will be seperate

just noticed that on CAD!! fuck me thats a good deal.

Wire teh subs in parrallel to show the amp 2 ohms and you will have loads of head room to play with on the amp and still power the subs easily

what wires etc will i need to hook that up 2 my 2 subs, and am i right in saying i can just connect the amp to the headunit preout?

easiest way is an amp wiring kit it should have in it

Power lead and fuse (the one from battery to amp)
Earth lead
Remote wire (from back of headunit to amp)
Phono leads (preout from headunit to amp)
Speaker wire

its only 12v its stings a little and thats it, even 230v in the right situation only tingles for a few hourssmileys/smiley17.gif

Yes it has to be connected to the battery.

mk1 saxo the positive connector to the battery has a bolt perfect for a ring connector. MK2 a little more difficult, you can either change terminals or drill a hole in the connector and bolt on the power lead

lol, hardest thing to do.. ever. a tip, to get the power lead through from the battery into the car, there is a rubber seal where other wires go through which can be found in the passenger footwell up a bit. hope u have tricky fingers becuase it is v. fiddly!
