when i break, my sidelight goes out!

Can anyone help? i'm hoping i've just put the wrong bulbs in and i'll check tomorow, but for now anyone got any ideas?

I just smoked my original rear lights to replace my lexus lights. it went well then when i re-fitted the unit, the driver's side break is slightly duller, and if i have my sidelights on, and break, both the sidelight and the break light goes out :(

All help appreciated as i want rid of my lexarses!:hug:

I had the same problem an all i did was change the bulbs

and did tht fix it? hope the electrics in my unit aren't fucked

bad earth, when i took my rear lights out n smoked them my passenger side brake light wouldnt work, turned out it was a dirty earth on the light connection and it made other things go haywire.

where abouts is tht? on the unit itself? is it just a case of electrical contact cleaner on the earth? cheers
