you can flaten it and polish it in that i mean use 1200 wet and dry then polish using a power polisher:y:

i doubt that will get rid of the marks tbh depends on colour as i was spraying yesterday and i got a run waited for it to dry sanded it off and the paint was darker were the run had been so had to put a few more coats on so i would say paint it again

Would you say the runs are in the actual paint or the lacquer? If it's in the lacquer then you've got a good chance of getting it out by following sharky's advice, can use 1000 wet tough and then some polish, recommend the Wurth 'Rapid One', does the job!

it looks like its in the paint itself, the car is white. what if i was to wet and dry all the runs out then use rubbing compound to blend it in, then put a fresh coat of laquer on it? would that work?

it might be all right with it being white as you cant make white lighter or darker and its not mettalic so i would try it anyway but yes if it was the paint you would have to re laqeur it
