recently my front drivers side window keeps popping out. there is a plastic clip that sits inside the window seal that guides the window when going up and down. this keeps popping off.
i have replaced the plastic guider the first time it happened and it worked fine for about a month but now it is doing it again and its uber annoying tbh. the seal is in mint condition aswell.
any ideas what it could be?

sound like something may be bent, may the window reg?? is the door frame ok?? or it could be a poorly adjusted window in the reg

the door frame is how it has always been, never had any knocks or strains.

mines doing it aswell mark
im gonna have another look at mine today, at the front were the speaker is i screwed a screw into there that holds the front window guide thing in place, i dont think its meant to be screwed as it seems to pull the window out of the guide, try taking your doorcard off and see if its come out of the guide at the front :y:
clip is available from the dealers

ive only had a new clip in for about a month. will have a look today if i can be arsed when i have finished work. it had come out of the front guide rail last time but i popped it back in and screwed to back together.
cant understand why it just does it randomly

yeah mines never been the same once i took it out for some reason, definately think there wasnt a screw on the front guide though, either that or i wasnt screwed in all the way to allow for movement

Just a quick one as it could be something else. After you have fitted the little grey clip to the window make sure you push it into the window runner correctly, it normally clicks when its fully home.
Had this exact same problem and this was the solution.

I've had this same problem, you dont think its anything to do with the seal that holds the window in being too tight? as it seems to get stiffer the further the window gets up. And it seems to go up smoother when the glass is a bit wet.

im gonna look at mine in the morning, taking the screw out and see if it makes it any better, now and again it pops out

partly fixed it yesterday but ripped my window seal which i think was the problem. going to "borrow" another window seal tomorrow as they are like £35 from shitroen.
this time im going to stick some vaseline inside the seal where the window slides up and down
