1.)
The Quick detailing spray?

is this stuff any good?
anyone use it?

2.)
My wingmirror plastic (black) is faded, looks like its met some polish,
anything I can use to get it back to its original state?

For your plastics buy some of this:
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_18 2061_langId_-1_categoryId_123060

Been using it for years its very good and lasts ages:y:

Btw the quick detailing spray is just for a quick wipe over to keep the car looking clean, best stuff is black diamond;) You have seen the results:cool:

No it's a sealant, so similiar to a wax, but it lasts months and keeps the car clean from contaniments(sp). Made my car look almost wet:

Its costly but well worth it, iv had mine about a year and there is plenty left

Best I have found for plastics is Meguirs Gold Class trim detailer. Its awesome, and doesnt wash off in the rain. Last ages.

I use quick detailer mainly after its rained and the car hasnt been anywhere. Its pretty good for what it is tho.

imo you cant beat auto glym bumper care, does the trick :y:

I use autoglym bumper care for all the black trim on my car, it works a treat :y: gets rid of any polish excess.. and restores faded plastic... lasts quite a long time too!

I use meguiars final finish detailer spray if i have washed my car and dryed it, but still see smear lines, and i use it if my car has just had a shower of rain on it and is slightly dirty but doesn't need a full wash..

Hope that helps!

after its rained then you just spray it on and wipe it off, literally nothing before nor after?

As long as car is in reasonable condition then yeah, just spray it on, give it a rub and it will be nice and shiny again.

I am not keen on the quick detailer. If you have small dirt bits on with the rain falling, then you start wiping them about you will get scratches.

but yeah the quick clay bar is good on black cars

heres mine after clay bar and poor boys polish

clean you strips etc with a multi purpose cleaner and toothbrush. will bond better then and last longer
