Electric Sunroof Conversion?

Yes, its possible, but im not sure how hard it would be.

Are there any saxo's that come with elcetric sunroofs? If not then you would have to look at 206/306/C2's and find one thats the same size.

To be honest mate, i wouldnt bother. No point in going to all that hassle for what?! Being able to press a button to open the sunroof? Lol

i read an article on doing it to a ford mondeo it seems a case of taking off you handle and dropping the motor onto the exposed cog, then running 1 positive and 1 negative, i think the scandal saxo's come with sunroofs...

I want to do it mainly because my subs make the sunroof winder rattle like f**k and it really does wind me up lmao

Best bet would be to sort out the window winder then mate!:y:

Just tight up any retaining screws.

You could give it a go though if you're mechanically minded. Dont suppose you have anything to lose!:y:

possibly just a missprint.there is a kind of blanking plate up there,maybe some overseas cars had electric sunroofs.in the haynes manual theres a bit about air con too.but to my knowledge it was never an option on uk cars

what really winds me up though is the sx version is ment to be the more luxery version of the 1.1 and have electrics, so yes i have a keypad immobiliser and electric windows but do i have an electric sunroof? noooo! lol
