View Full Version : Grommit on 1.1 saxo?

i just bought a fusion powered sub but need help connecting the power cable.

could someone tell me how to get it from the engine to the car on a 1.1 saxo desire (2000) i cant seem to find the grommit behind the dash

also how would i connect it to the battery since the power leed has a loop and the abttery has a sort of clamp on the +

passenger side footwell get on your knees and look up.. theyre the same in all saxos (its behind the glove box basicall) and comes out behind the brake fluid resoviour in the engine bay

fusion = ouch lol

i ran mine over the scuttle and down behind the wheelarch through the door grotit (were the speaker wire goes)

and there is a black fusebox behind the battery (the smaller box) and theres a perfecr little bolt to use

yep, not ideal but can be done that way.. the person who owned my saxo before me did that.. (he made a mess of it though :P)

i did mate just needed a bit more help :) got a mate to help install it and its all done its not bad for £75 deep clean bass and doesn't rattle about.

just gota do summet about the gaffa taped cable under the steering dont want them cuming on to pedals lol

any thoughts?

well the rca, remote cables coming from under the carpet on the right side so it goes from there to back of cd player

oh.. well pull them from the other end then (not cd player end)

it will pull them back under the carpet and out the way

well it was 25+ here all day till about 30 mins ago startted raining badly

will tuck it in carpet tomorow morning lol :D
