My door creaks, groans and is becoming a nuisance!

Do you mean when u open the door? If so Saxos have a tendency to lose the attachment for the door restraint arms inside the door, check it out, tighten and lubricate as necessary ASAP. I have seen these punch a hole in the outside doorskin!

Or do you mean the door drops when u open it? That can be worn door hinge pins, need replacement.

Or is it just when driving it? That could be door catch / striker plate needs adjusting / lubricating.

yeah check the "restraint" not the actual hinges, this often becomes loose and makes nasty noises. make sure that evrythin looks in place then tighten it up, maybe 40 torx head on the car side and bout 10mm nut on the door side.

Yup.... the flat bar between the door and the car frame. it becomes loose at the door end (inside)

there are two torx key holes size 6(dont quote me on that) tighten those they should stop the noise

these are common problems, the door check strap pins wear out due to obvious constant use, all u can do really is tighten the 10mm nuts where it goes into the door, and the torx 40 bolts that go into the car chassis, there is also a pin that you can replace which is on the hinge by the torx 40 bolts. otherwise just buy a new door check strapm relatively cheap and easy to fit.
