yea mate thats a guranteed mot failure. i had a massive argument over sumat simliar wiv the mot testing guy an he gave me a copy of the legislation. it says the only colour light that is allowed the shine from the front of the car is white or yellow.

MOT failure for definite. Had to change mine on my fiesta, blue bulb but it shined white.. not sure how that works but I had to change them anyway.

You are only allowed them on side light while you are stationary (parked up) so on the road you either have dipped beam or no beam...hope this helps...

oh so very illegal im afraid, probablies get done for impersonating an emergency vehicle

buy some quad led sidelights in white,they do have a tint of blue in the and they are legal

All these LED side light bulbs that replace the standard bulbs as far as I am aware are illegal and all will fail a properly done MOT. Even if there the correct colour there still illegal. I could be wrong on this one as I have not really bothered to read up on it. If you want a blue ish side light that is legal Philips do the BlueVision bulbs.
