Wash the microfibre washmitt first with normal fairly liquid, rub it in first in the sink to get all the dirt out and then throughly wash with clean water and ring out until there is no more water coming out of the mitt then either hang it on the clothes line or hang it inside on a peg and do the same with the sonus applicator pads, they come up new all time i never put any pads or mitts in a machine, hope that helps:)
