Ok lost my n/s mirror in a hedge, bought new one from egay found out it doesn't really fit. Which isn't much help.
So I seek help here
Do the base plate fitments differ from phase 1 & 2?

This is the ebay description just to make sure I haven't missed something important. Also my saxo is a 98 westcoast and therefore mk1.

THIS ITEM IS A SAXO 1996 ONWARDS DOOR / WING MIRROR, PASSENGER SIDE.

BRAND NEW ITEM, IN A BOX, COMPLETE AND READY TO FIT (10 MINUTE JOB). SAME AS ORIGINAL CITROEN MIRROR. ITS ADJUSTED MANUALLY FROM INSIDE THE CAR, AND IT INCLUDES THE MIRROR GLASS. FULLY 'E' MARKED AND ROAD LEGAL, AND WILL FIT ALL MODELS.

Thank you please, rep given. -For all you little rep seeking whores!

Ok thats exactly what i thought, what about the inside adjuster from the cable, mine is taken off using a T20 torx screw yet this one has a screw-in attachment.
Any ideas? i know it doesn't fit but im stumped i thought mirrors were universal for saxo's.
