Boot Release Solenoid HELP!!

hi im been having lots of trouble placing my solenoid for my flushed boot. i cant find a good place to put it even with the lock removed and wiper removed. i got it in a place that when i use it it "sometimes opens" after a few clicks of the button. also the solenoid only contracts and it needs to expand somehow but i don't know how to do it. i would appreciate some help and there will be rep. heres the link to the solenoid i have if it helps:

hi i installed my own boot popper kit it quite easy and to make ti change and to make it expand change the wire around from the green and blue i think may differ on yours and should chaneg direction of it and i try get pick of where i put mine ok mate.

o that was the exact same kit i bought too.you will probs need 3 brackets all together.
i try get pic today ok.be easy to see from pic then for me to describe it.

does it only either expand or contract not both?

also did u hook urs to the alarm? i would like to know how to do that aswell thanks!
