:y:My new sexy looking magnex back box cme today an i came to fit it but my centre section needs trimming! any1 have any pics of where to cut the centre section so the back box will fit?
And also is it worth buying performance exhaust mounts as the standard ones seem crap :y:

did you get it new or second hand???
when i bought 1 you got a reducer with it to fit on vtr pipe vts dont need this
mine didnt need trimming unless mk1 are diff to mk2??

its brand new mate came with a fitting kit from roadrunner on ebay

my sleeve just fitted over middle pipe & slipped in back box

Wish mine did lol but mines got a bend in it because of the way its routed an its a pain :panic: its also got a wide opening at the end of the centre pipe because the original b/box is a little stubby thing.
i'll get it on tha ramps in work 2morrow and have a better look thanks for the help:y:

There was a guide in the documentation section of the Magnex website... although it seems to be down atm. The standard centre section needs cut before the flange - the guide told you exactly how much to take off.
My advice would be to save up for the centre section to go with the backbox - I found no difference in sound fitting it to the standard centre section. Plus, the fit is much better with the right centre pipe. :y:
