If so, what do you reckon?

I'm looking at getting it for my car.

I've not used it, but personally I wouldn't want to be re-using something like that on my car. As it picks up all the bonded contaminents and I can't see how it all can be absorbed by the clay block. Also as it's meant to be used up to 25 times, you could potentially be dragging contaminents across your paint. Although it says that it is safe to use, I prefer to use a new piece of clay every time I use my car. Just for peace of mind... Don't want to undo my hard work :y:

EDIT : I'm sure its fine and perfectly safe to use, otherwise it wouldn't be on sale. And Chem Guys are a reputable company.

Hm, i would have said the same as above tbh. Could cause damage i.e. scratches, to your car. And also notice how it says 15-25, by the 25th time its probably knackered and useless. But if it is a decent product and does what it says, then its a good price and worth it.

I would prefer using a fresh piece of clay everytime tbh.

It says it lasts 25 times.. How many times do you claybar your car in a year?

once/twice/three times? (three's the maximum for me)

so not only you will be using a dirty piece of clay, you'll be using a old piece of clay, would you be able to keep it somewhere clean for years? Or would it be easier just to buy some clay everytime you plan on claybar'ing your car?

Might be ideal for car valetors though =\

That's why am I thinking of getting it, but wanted other peoples opinions.

On average I am valeting 7 cars a month, so I need something that's going to last.

If you're going to be valeting other peoples cars... I would personally be being even more carefull. :y:

I know when I'm doing folks cars for them, I take the utmost care. As I don't want to encur a Costly repair bill. I would definitely be going down the route of using a fresh piece of clay for every few panels. :y:

Maybe look at the Bilt Hamber clay as from what I've seen it comes in pretty big blocks so should be cost effective :y:

Why dont you get one and try it on you own car a few times. If you like it and get used to it use it on other peoples cars?

If it does do any little damage to your car i'm sure you'll be able to correct it?
