View Full Version : CV Boot?
Morning,
I changed a tyre for one of my friends last night on her Saxo 1.1.
I took the wheel off, the inside of it was black but when I put my hand on the inside of the rim it was full of mucky oil and quite fresh aswell.
I looked over the car, couldn’t see anything but I was think CV Boot?
What do you guys reckon?

You sure it wasnt just brake dust on the wheel?
But yes, the CV boot would cause oil to piss over everything under there!:y:

Cheers mate.
Grease a bad thing? Lol.
The black was just brake dust I know :)
Wasn't as bad as that Sayer, looked more like I shoved my fingers inside my engine where the oil is.

worked on a megane yeterday that did it, just a wheel cleaner and degreaser to get ll the crap off the wheels, you wil need to re grease the boot tbh, but as said check for splits and erishing of the rubber first
Need to spread the love Pred.
Cheers bud.
