I have a 2001 saxo vtr, it's been a pain in the arse since i bought it to be honest. instead of boring u with all the problems ive had ill just list what ive had to replace:
2 front suspension struts
2 bottom wishbone arms
a powersteering pump
coil pack
lambda sensor
steering rack gaitor
spark plugs
injector clip
front headlight
....thats just a few of the things that ive had to replace :panic:
But it has been 1 problem after another.:wall:
At the moment i THINK the tick over sensor is playing up ??? when im at traffic lights/junction the car doesnt tick over properly,i can hear it revving on it's own & it's constantly moving between 7 and 11 revs. also the temperature gage is constantly going up 1 min then down the next, the red light comes on then goes off, i think this may be the cause of my fan kicking in every 2 mins, even when ive turned the engine off the fan goes on for a good 5mins or so.
iv'e flushed the radiator through, changed the thermostat so am thinking it must be sum sensor????
n e 1 have any ideas that can help me????
