I currently have a mk1 saxo vtr, with no spoiler im considering fitting a small one see link:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Citroen-Saxo-VTS-2000-Mk2-Boot-With-Spoiler_W0QQitemZ290244421873QQcmdZViewItem?hash=i tem290244421873&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318

Not the mk1 vts spoiler think these smaller ones are only found on mk2's from what iv seen. Iv heard that the glass needs changing to fit these type of spoilers, is this true?

How would i fit it, just bond it on? or could i just buy a mk2 tailgate?

thanks

Put some bonding agent on the back of it, like tiger seal or something, then wack a load of self tappers into it.

yep tigar seal is very good used it on mine but also drilled two big holes for some big strong bolts to go through as i had my old spoiler ropped so this will be very hard to take off

surely you dont mean drilled two big holes through the glass (thought it would shatter) - i put that same spoiler on with tiger seal on each end of the spoiler(ebay about £8)- put some gaffa tape on the spoiler for a few hours to hold it in position - rock solid , aint ever comin off
