got ice on it's way so goin to make a MDF floor in the boot to put everything on was wonderin what depth of wood should i use or will it not make a difference?

it wont make a diiference. the main thing is that you can screw anything on it (and secure it that way)
i used 12mm (i think), maybe even thinner

cool wasn't sure if it would make a difference better safe than sorry though eh, how should i sercure the MDF floor to the car? not sure what's ment to be in the boot of the VTR but it's just the metal in the one im working on

no need to secure it, just make sure it's big enough. mine goes from every edge of the boot, so i can moove it around half a cm. no problem really.

same here, mines a very snug fit.
But used about 8mm thick MDF covered in acoustic carpet.

i covered it in regular carpet (with rubber on the lower side, so it melted with glue and sticks to the MDF very good)

mine hasn't that much, its just sits rather low as it is.. When I strip the seats etc out , i@m wondering what that is going to do the ride height.
But I'm still having one sub box in the back leaning towards me.

ive got 2 sub boxes in the back on bout 10mm mdf, gona get sum thicker stuff some tho was thinkin bout 15mm then plain away the middle underneath so the wires can go underneath, not really bothered bout it weighin the car down
