Just read on another forum (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17895494) that Peco and Magnex exhausts have gone under. I did wonder why the Magnex site has been down for so long.

As said in the link, rising cost in steel maybe something to do with it?

Who knows..

surely if its to do with rising cost in steel the piper and ashley would be having problems also (just a thought)

ashley smaller company and different type of steel. You dont know the state of the company may have had debtors to pay etc.

I'm sure I heard Janspeed went bust a few years ago- they're still around though.

Guess the value of my Magnex system just went up though! lol

Talking to a guy at work, he worked at Janspeed for a short while and said they did go bust at some point.

Also said the way they tested the exhaust was to take the car for a blast as they didn't have a dyno! lol

magnex are built in shite countries so could be anything to do on that side of productions. On alot of cars they are expensive too and are show items not as much performance.

Just saw this, from what is said there was a mix up and it was a canadian company that went bust, not magnex.
