Hey
Has anyone ever removed the door parts of the VT kit, have to cut off the back one I think..
Anyhow.. so that really you end up with flat arch/smooth style doors but retain the VT arches.. In my head the idea seems kinda cool.. guess it would look similar to 106 GTi..

Panel mostly unclips mate. There are some sticky pads on there as well though which need removing.
It has been done i think, but it leaves holes in the door skin which will need welding up and filling then painting.
My car has no door panels on at the minute so heres a pic to give you an idea of what it looks like (door panels will be going back on though):

From looking at the picture, could you not leave the kit off on the door and get everything filled and re-painted etc etc and have the look of a standard vt kit looking like a wide arch kit......
I may be taking c**p here but looks liek it could have the effect from looking at that picture....

arches blended in etc you mean?
thats what I am doing. It will be smoothed into the car but the original shape of the arches and kit will be kept. Hopefully it will look ok.
