done a quick search but cant find the answer i want, ive recently put a 106 GTI interior in my 2003 saxo vts but the seats aren't airbagged and my vts seats were, so to get rid of the airbag warning light iv read on hear you can connect the two wires together with a 2ohms resistor, has anyone done this? if so how do you connect them and any tips, rep given, thanks.

Hey mate,
Yes this can be done, i done it with my old saxo as i had bucket seats in.
It may be a little different on yours as i dont no what your conector will look like but here is how i done it.
Basically get the resistor, bend the 2 wires so its like a "U" shape, put both ends into the air bag plug thing, if the legs are to long jst push it as far as it will go and bend it over, and then i just secured it with duck tape and tucked it out of the way.
Turned the car on and hey presto, no airbag light.
Its important to get it done, as if you do have a bump, which hopefully you wont, the air bag WILL NOT go off if the light is on.
Hope this has helped, if you have any problems just drop me a PM :y:
PS - when i went to get my resistors, they didnt have 2ohm's so i get 1.8's and they wored fine :y:
