Just found out today that im out of a job from next friday! im so pissed off about it, the office staff havent even been affected and they get paid the most and do jack all and all the hardworkers down on the workshop floor have to suffer for their incompetence and lazyness.

i got made redundant once, you needed 2 years service to be entitled to redundancy money, i was there 1 year 11 months.
was a bummer.

I think my old place gave something like a week or months wage payout for every year you'd worked there.

Still shitty being out of work though.

What do you do? Plenty of jobs out there too. Personally I'd get the first job I could just to kepp money coming in and search for something decent too.

I was there as an apprentice welder but since ive been there all i have done is do the jobs everyone else dont want to do. Ive only been working there a year last monday, they said ill be paid for any holiday i have earnt and have been given one weeks notice, ive sort of worked it out and ill only be coming out with 900 quid including all holiday and weeks im owed.
Have also found out today im the only apprentice going! there is one other lad there and coz he bum licks the boss his job is safe WTF??? Thats mega pissed me off!!!

I have sent off a few cv's out and am constantly on tinternet lookin to see if any jobs pop up!
