Okay this is such a n00b question I felt I had to post in here! :zainy:

We're starting to look for a nice little mk2 saxo to tinker with as we have a few ideas

Quick question though. Did Citroen make any Saxo models without a sunroof? as I'm struggling to find any for sale without

erm tbh im not sure but can i ask (another noob question..) why is it people always want the non sunroof models of cars to modify?? is there any main reason for this??

weight, high up on the roof - looking to lower the centre of gravity by having a non-sunroof model.

i have not seen one but i was looking into gettin a body shop to put a new roof skin on without the sunroof

yeah, was gonna ask the same thing, whats wrong with the sunroof???

the car will be gutted inside and turned into a track car. Don't need to stare at the sky :p I'd rather not plate the roof or faff with changing the roof skin either. Would be one less thing to do.

As far as I know only the Mk1's had no sunroof. And only the basic models, for example my car. However I've never seen a vtr/S without a sunroof :ponder:

no sunroof means a stiffer shell, and a stiffer shell means going round corners faster kiddies.

your gonna struggle to find one without a sun roof mate its not that different with one

Citroen sell a non sunroof skin but apparently the original is held in by loads of spot welds. :wacko:

looks like I'll just have to drill out the spot welds and change the roof.

ye a base model sax across my street doesnt have a sun roof. looks like everything else seems to have one.

my mates selling his mk2 vtr. needs an engine. i dont think he wants much for it either and its in good nick. a guy from here owned it months back
