Which Car?

Right i need to get a new car.

Around 1,000 to 1,300 ideally. Fancy a german car- Golf gti or Audi A4.

Dont want a huge engine, reliable and easy to drive car for getting around uni in. Any ideas?

Check out Auto Trader and see what your money will get you... for that money it'll be leggy though.

The late '90s A4s are nice though... pretty comfy, zippy and pleasant to drive!

Cheers mate yeh id have thought for that money it be hard to get a good one but i like a R reg a4 if poss.

Whats a good milage count for a audi? When do they tend to go wrong?

They go on for ages- seen some VAG diesels with over 300,000 miles on them- and Audi interiors are practically bombproof. Don't be too worried about getting one with a load of miles, just make sure it has a full set of stamps in the service book and it drives & looks OK.
