I've just got my saxo (well a few months ago) and I'm looking to upgrade the soundsytem, I've been looking through the forums and picked up some decent tips, and have come up with this set up:

Hertz Dieci DSK 130 Components £69.99
JBL GT4-12 1000W Sub £33.98
JBL 75.2 2 CHANNEL AMP £68.94
Pioneer DEH-3000MP £69.99

£242.90

Would this be a good system, or can anyone reccommend me anything else for a similar price.

Cheers

Dan

Thats a good setup mate! Although it would be best if you could get an amp on those components, as they dont work too well off head unit power.

This amp would be better! You can run it in 3 channel mode, with 150rms into each speaker and i think its about 300rms into the sub.:y:

Thanks Coonper, I'm new to all this sort of thing so I was just wondering why I'd need to have a 3 Channel amp, because I've only got the components and sub, so wouldn't I only need 2 channel amp? Because It is quite a fair bit more for that 2nd amp you mentioned.

Cheers Mate.

It has 3 channels so u can have a left channel and a right channel for your components and u can also use the last channel for your sub!!

This is because in your list you had an amp for your Sub, and non for your components and they sound ALOT better when amped!!

Oh right I see now. I didn't realise you'd need 2 for the components, but now you say it... :wall:

Anyway I'll definately be getting a 3 channel then, probably the one you've just reccomended me :y:

Cheers buddy
