it most likely would go in, if Ratty sees this he will be the man with good answers.

Though i suspect he will say dont bother and use a vts engine

lol each to their own smileys/smiley4.gif

yes it can be put in, cos it runs on carbs you dont need to use the electrical stuff the saxo has, would need to use a low pressure fuel regulator as the saxo pump and reg will be too high for carbs. But it will fit, all TU blocks are the same for fitting.

but would be better to carb the VTS lump if thats what you want smileys/smiley4.gif

cheers, ive got 100bhp nos!!! im selling the vts block for spares, i needed a full saxo mk2 so that i could transfer all the running gear to my smoooth wide ass shell, but ive been given a axgt so im thinking of using that instead. ive had a gt before and theyre quick and simple to rebuild. do you know if i can just plug the ax wiring loom into the saxo main loom, do i ditch the keys and ecu from the saxo and put the ax ones on? cheers sadsy. if anyone is interested in a vts enginewww.sadssaxo@msn.comi might have trouble sending pics as ive tried with saxoAL and it went tits up. smileys/smiley8.gif

no you cant plug the looms in, the GT mk2 has a smaller plug connector so you would have to wire it in manually, not too hard just time consuming, since your carbs you can ditch the keys but you would have to replace your ign barrel and lock set (else you couldnt get in or start the car) but you can keep them as its just a switch, ill give oyu £200 for the engine smileys/smiley17.gif

several times, just trace where each wire goes from the ax loom, then match that sensor/wire on the saxo loom, you have to add some ign lives and a few earths in and you wont use all the wires if going carb.
