Is it me or will the police pull you over for the smallist thing to day i gt pulled and the cop said i was looking at ma phone but all i was doing was looking at a peace of paper. So he then went through my phone to check all my calls i have made. i can under stand if i was doing 60+ mph and i looked away from the road but i was stoped at some traffic lights not going any were. so i ended up getting a worning, but did say that he had been a traffic cop i would of been tacken to court for driving without due care and attention.:wall:

So you would think.

Supposedly if you pull over to take a phone call BUT leave the engine running they can do you for it.

Pathetic.

there seems to be a lot of threads about police pulling people over
do they that every person in a saxo goes round at 90 mile and hour

its gay tbh

I've been rung/text in traffic lights... and i answer it occasionally depends who it is really. But never do it whilst driving, i pull over like a good lad if i need to. :y:

But as said, if you want to be sure not to be pulled over for stuff like that... just don't even think about it.

I have built in cradle now, so if anyone phones I just stick on loudspeaker.

As good as handsfree.

I have a bluetooth earpeice for when im driving, and if I get a text I just ignore it until I get to where i'm going

i got pulled a while ago, the cop said "i put the foot down and took off" when infact all i did was speed up from 20 to 30 because i entered a 30 zone from a 20 zone, and he was behind me, when he realised he was wrong he just warned me and said that i will continually be watched because of the type of car i drive ( a saxo vtr) not fair tbh, and also said that if he'd have been a traffic cop, id have to go to court.... its piss because i quite fancy joining the police, but u get some idiots that put you off it!:homme:

a person is said to be in charge of a vehicle if he is in it and the holder of the key, even in the passenger seat.
if a key is in the ignition but not on and the person in the driving seat is also the person in charge then.

na mate but she was heavy on the right foot!!

The ones around here think the speed limit is 20. Everywhere. Then they give you dirty looks when you overtake them in a 60.

How is it then for a copper on his own in a police panda car to be able to speak into his "talking badge" (he has to press a button to talk) and not be prosecuted for using a mobile?
