if ur a mechanic and it doesnt pay good then ur either a) an apprentice or b) have as much mechanical skills as a quick fit fitter. i'm a mechanic and the lowest mechanic job i have had was 20k a year and the most i had was when i worked for mercedes that was around 25-28k a year depending on bonus. then from a mechanic u can go on to be workshop foreman where the money boosts up. plus as a mechanic u should be earning good from private car jobs

oh and that website looks like a scam there are no contact numbers or anything

A)second year apprentice, and don't work in a dealership neither just an independent garage which isn't as good.
i do as many private jobs as i can for family and friends. i just want to earn some extra cash in my spare time.

try flogging old crap on ebay, thats what im doing with my car :P

and just try and get some stuff at home, so you can do more work at home, and then you might be able to make a fair bit on it

then i suggest u put ur skills to use, buy a cheap car that needs fixing off ebay and sort it then sell it on to make profit or something like that. Go on forums and offer mechanic services lowering, mods fitting etc... its the only way u will make any half decent money

if ur gonna work from home, set ur self up first, then if you get enough rep and advertisement, set u a business.
