just hit 135,000 miles yesterday.
i think its quite a bit for my old 1.1
can any1 else top it?

proof saxos are not as shie as people make out.
my vtr is on 102k, and still running strong bar a few niggles.
although thats not going up much now i have the 2.

just had a new wishbone and leg. i think my driveshafts on its way out and something with my gearbox.. happy days

lol...good luck to you buddy :) mine gave up the ghost in the end thouhg...Headgasket went, clutch was on the way and apparently on the listing of it on auto trader recently it says the main bearings have gone...wouldn't know what ones they are...lol

when i first got my new car i was really dissapointed because things just werent going right what with the body work being damaged and the exhaust and the radiator, but now its all sorted and modified to how i wanted it its all good in the hood :)

good good. but i dont want a french car now. theyre quick and everything but i think theres 2 much problems with them. my mams just got rid of her 307 coz of problems with the ecu. my dads got rid of his 106 not long ago coz of some problem lol.... imo french cars = NO

I know it's not a Saxo but one of the Travis Perkins old delivery Sprinters that drop our gear off on a morning has over 250,000 miles on it.

was mate he had it from new jus for commuting. we always have alot of passats in work with well over 250k on them then they seem to drop a valve seat.

When i was looking for a 'lude I rang about one and asked the mileage as it was missing from the advert- the woman selling told me it had 240k but still went well.
Now high mileage doesn't scare me but I though I'd give that a miss.
Imagine trying to sell it after 3 years with nigh on 300k miles on it!

On the Peugeot forum I am on, there are 406s with 350,000 miles plus on them.
I reckon mine would see 300k easy.

mine reached 141000 the other day on 98 vtr and still a very very strong engine beats most 1.8's and all vtr's. But the gearbox is goin atm :(

The misses has just sold her old p reg 106, which had 165k on the clock! Still running well too :)
