Standard Saxo Stereo/CD Player CODE HELP!!

Got a proper dilema on my hands!

Basically, changed my CD player after a few months of having my saxo and today I swapped them over for when I sell my saxo.

But It's asking me for a code, all I know is its a 4 digit 1-6 code that activates the stereo and without this it won't work!

Looked over just about everything that came with the car but no luck..

It's an 02 saxo.

The code things on the stereo say

PU-229 4B(D)

CL0402107032

most audio shops will do it for about a tenner, or u might be able to get the software off the net!

for the gti6 stereo you can use a formula that tells you your code but i dont know if its the same for the saxo's.

You're gonna end up going to shitroen mate. They will charge between £20 and £30 to get you the code.

Otherwise you could get a second hand unit with the code, or just buy an aftermarket head unit, such as a cheap mutant or JVC one for about £40, which will be better than standard anyway!:y:

go to citreon, they will do it for you. my mum had a prob with her code, vauxhal changed it for free.
