slightly under he droped it from 4.2 - 3.8 to 3.6 so im paying 3.5 and looking at other VTS about the same mileage without mods (the mods done to this are what i would do anyway) im saving some money :)

well there dont seem to be many nice examples of an S with decent mileage about. but thats because of the age of the car now i guess.. im hoping this car lasts me a good 5-6 years now so spending the money on a nice example like this aint to bad.

he has posted the mileage in a picture and it showed 34501 so if i go there thursday and it has more on there hes probs been out for a last "how many times can i bounce it off the limiter" session. i know the current owner is young at 18 yrs old so naturally hes is going to be a boy racer! but with it being 35,000 miles and him only being the 2nd owner (ill check the log book on that first though) im hoping its not too bad! naturally im going to take it out for a test drive first! I am so worried about buying a new car now and with what u have said has put me off a little :(

its low milage and seems to of been well looked after.

i look after mine and think its one of the best kept examples about, yet i do track days so thrash it on there, still fine and had no problems at all

yeah my VTR done me well. just screwed that the clutch arm went and i really cant be arsed to spend more money on my 10yr old car. been looking at a VTS for 3-4 months anyway so this just gives me a push in the right direction

Nice upgrade from the old VTR. I'm pretty sure you'll be OK, looks a well looked after example - even if he has bounced it off limiter a few times, I highly doubt he would sit there with it on it for ages though.

no, its standard 100%

standard exterior FTW just lowering it is required then engine work later but not interested in that at the moment:y:

yeah... but if it has that, it defiently been driven in a way it shouldnt have been driven but what saxo hasnt been ragged especially VTRs and VTSs

When you are buying a second hand car how are you able to make such a judgement? Unless you know the owner and know how they treated it / drove it all the time you dont know shit tbh

Looks a nice example to me, make sure its all straight & not been in a prang thats all id say oh and if possible cold start it and see if its making any unusual noises.

should be, i think most people do it like that or every 6 months

even when mine was standard i would do the same

when you get it change oil, just get some cheaper stuff, fill it up, run it round for a bit then ditch it, clean it all out, personally id change the oil quite often at first, just to clean it all out you dont know how many times its done before so peace of mind you can clean it all out
