Hi peeps,
I will be collecting this VTR at the end of august for 1500, now i know ALOT of the exteriour needs re-doing, i think will make all the kit standard (good idea?), lexase lights will become smoked jewels, and black VTR wheels, (ridding on 17"s atm, not to my taste), im really only getting it for the full leather inside tbh lol, has a PS2 in the glove box, a TV in the passenger visor, a TV in the boot, with 2 10" subs, covered in leather, the 6x9s will be removed, and every thing else will be the same, what would you do the car?? thanks, PS this car was in max powers top 100, 2 or 3 years ago :D....

Putting the kit and wheels back to standard is definately a good idea mate, and burn those lexus lights tbh
Other than that it looks clean and tidy, im sure you will make a nice car out of it when you take all the tat off

i really dont see the point in buying sumthing like that to take all the kit off an put it back to standard . far easy to buy a standard vtr an ad the bits u want ps2 tv ect
but good luck

Yeh im not liking the outside tbh, but i bought it for the re-built engine, and all the leather and electronics, no marks, rips or tears...its in good nic :D so if any one wants to swap this kit for a standard VT kit im here lol

Because i will be buying a standard VTR without the TV and that for 1500 any ways, plus the leather, its alot of money spent on this car already, its cheaper to get a VT kit and new lights for like 150 pounds, then spent close to 700 pounds on all the electronics and seats, correct?? lol

personally i dont think the kit is THAT bad. could just do with a more subtle front bumper. deffo get rid of lexus lights. take power cap off and put it somewhere more central. stealth shelf for the 6x9's.
also a black respray wouldnt go a miss. would tone the kit down a bit.
hope this is useful.

good base to start from. put standard mirrors on lexarse lights off, 16' tdu 1.2's, sunstrip off and your onto a winner.

I think your right, i have same kit on my car and it doesn't look too over the top (my opinion of course) plus my rear bumper doesn't look as bulbous...
Im sure i've seen this car on cardomain.com HERE (http://www.cardomain.com/ride/519886) - some pictures there.
Any way good buy for the money, do your thing to it mate :y:

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BODYKITS. lets face it. without them the modifying scene would be dead.
Its all down to opinion mate. if you like it keep it. this is my kit.

That looks shit and its over priced, avoid it.
You can get a MK2 is a decent condition for that much!

You look like shit....dont leave comments lyk dat on my thread!!!...how is it over priced??? the interiour is worth 400 as it is, plus the playstaion, which is close to 100, then the TV's, and subs.....the 600 right there....that means im paying less that 1k for the car, which a great deal!!

not meaning to be harsh either its your money, but seems abit backwards to me to buy a kitted mk1 to return to standard trim or sumwhere near when you could just buy a standard car and add the subtle mods u mentioned, would prob be cheaper and have lower millage, just a thought and its not like that car is overly kitted!

tbh with you guys, i really am growing on this kit, i thought it was a bit ott, but its not as bad as most kits, and its gone from everyone having kitted cars, to euro, and the rat look is becoming popular around where i am, but no doubt someday it will be back to kits, and them some other style, so no matter what anyone does they just cant win as someday it will change....dont you agree??

Cheers guys...Providing he can find a new saxo (standard vts, under 70k pm me if any going) then the car is 100% mine now, going to add smoked jewels, and smoke the fogs, with black angels, and get rid of those alloys and add black or grey VTS wheels...what do you think??
