Ross170889 Black mk2 vtr progress thread Another update 16/10/08

Well after having my vtr for a couple of months or so i thought id best start a progress thread. The car came completly standard with 56,000 on the clock with 6 months tax and mot for a good price. I dont have any pics of how the car looked standard but this is how she stands now.

The car has been lowered 40mm on the front and 50mm on the back courtesy of vts_swedge top lad and didnt stop trying even with how seized the torsion bars were cheers again mate. I have also fitted a supersprint race centre section with a peco 4 inch outward rolled backbox which i may change soon. Also i got some vts wheels for it at a fairly cheap price with brand new tyres on so i refurbed them in anthracite. I had the doors delocked and smoothed over because some c*nt broke into my car and nicked my alpine headunit. More mods to come.

Well im going to get a bmc induction kit next. Then either get a vts conversion or sell up and buy a vts/ 106 gti. Also after a change of wheels i think so there in the for sale section now.

Ah yea your torsion bars were pretty damned seized in, i've had worse since but yours took the biscuit.

Well got an update sold the vts wheels to azzy off here today gave me an offer i couldnt refuse so now im after a new set of wheels what does everyone reckon i should get

Well got a couple of updates got some more vts wheels in standard silver not sure whether to spray them got the dirt cheap with four good yokos on aswell. Also got a new headunit for my bday of the mrs had a pioneer 6000ub very impressed with it.

Will get some pics up as soon as ive washed it also got a new clay bar set so will use that. :P

Well got a couple of updates for you sold the grey vts wheels as fancied a change. So i bought some standard silver ones rapped in yokohama s drives got them dirt cheap and there in mint condition.
Also got my bmc induction kit yesterday courtesy of berg top lad fitted it in minutes and his got two of the nicest saxos ive seen the white vts is gorgeous.

Cheers for the comments going to get a new front bumper on friday as mines got a crack on the bottom splitter and the one im getting is mint so ill fit that saturday and ill be happy with the outside of the car then.

Well ive bought another set of wheels this time some 205 gti speedlines in white got them off a lad from 106 owners. I really like the way they look also ive stripped the back seats out not sure if they will go back in soon though.
