hi, has any one had this done?
i have seen fibreglass items on ebay that i assume are just sort of stick on:
http://cgi.ebay.com/citroen-saxo-flush-boot-panel-tailgate-panel_W0QQitemZ160262455504QQihZ006QQcategoryZ2301 2QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD2VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1 638Q2em122
but in a modifying guide ive been looking at it says tio make a metal plate and weld it on and use body filler to make it smooth?
so which is best/cheaper/easier? because i want a smooth boot!

metal plate is better and would cost about £200 maybe more the others tend to crack

May be more expensive in the first place to weld in the plate but it will last longer. Fibreglass panels can flex and crack and will need repairing.
I used a fibreglass panel and now wish i never bothered.

do it yourself its not that hard.
if you dont no how to weld get some garage to weld a bit of sheet metal over ya numberplate then its just a case of fiberglassing and bodging it till its nice n smooth.
can take a while to get it flat but spend some time on it and it shud turn out ok.
