i think my gearbox is on its way out, i want another but do all saxo vtr's of this age (1999) have exactly the same box, i.e do they have different part references or g/box number :panic: - i am keeping the car strictly standard so i need the exact box for this car, as it will be rebuilt before mine dies

Yeah provided you get it fromt he same type engine which I'm guessing will be a 90brake in a car of that age. Your looking for a gearbox from a car which doesn't have a Catalyic converter in the Manifold.

any gearbox from a saxo will fit but all vtr gearboxes are the same, you never know if they have previously been replaced, that is the problem
