Yeah, put it in the oven for about 6-7 mins, then prize the glass off with a screwdriver or something.

Cheers mate i have tried this but it wont come off easily and i dont want to risk snapping the plastic? Should i heat them longer so the glue is more liquidised?
Also what can i use to seal them back up? Besides clear silicon?
Cheers

haha perfect example of why i used a hair dryer. sorry to hear it tho mate
ye heat it up untill it's more liquidised. and do the same when sticking it back together.. heat the glue on the glass back up and on the plastic. squash it back together.. put the metal clips back on and if you have any part of the light that isnt glued or sealed go over it with silicone etc.

Just tried the oven again and a heat gun but all i seem to be doing when i try to prise the glass away is stretching the glue type stuff and bending the hot plastic and know there is that glue everywhere and my light wont go back on properly! Anyone live near glossop, hattersley, manchester fancy giving me a hand :D

When the sealant is stretching with the plastic just use a sharp knife and cut the sealant as it stretches, the plastic will bend alittle but will go back into shape if your quick enough:y:

you've smoked them already!!!!! lol :D
i used a pair of scissors to get the glass off
just put it between the glass and plastic and just open them slowly
